Katie Baker is the Program Coordinator for The Early Literacy Program, serving Orange County, CA. She has a background as a preschool teacher, quality early childhood program advocate, parent and teacher trainer, and early literacy consultant.

Alicia Santamaría is Manager of Community Relations at the Raising A Reader National Headquarters in Mountain View, CA. She works closely with a wide range of organizations to develop and implement Raising A Reader programs all over the country. Alicia has a particular interest in Dual Language Learners and RAR’s work with immigrant and migrant communities. Alicia has more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector and holds a M.A. in communication from the University of New Mexico and B.A. in political science from Syracuse University. Alicia is also a mother of two young "readers" (ages 3 and 5) whom she and her husband are raising bilingually.
